The company has discovered several NCEs intended for the treatment of Psychophysiological Insomnia. The lead compounds is Neu-P11, a novel melatonin agonist binds with high affinity to melatonin receptors, with lower affinity to serotonin receptors but  without interaction with GABA-A receptors.

In animal studies Neu-P11 demonstrated hypnotic effects suggesting an induction of a high quality, restorative sleep. Neu-P11 has sleep promoting, anxiolytic and antidepressant potential but shows no deleterious effects on memory.

Neu-P11 is currently undergoing pre-Phase I preclinical toxicology testing in animals.
